Yeah, my magical stories of Singapore are here. And I'm sharing them with you, guys!
If you're ever there and you don't have a thing to do at night besides takin' a three-hour bath, I suggest an alternative.
Grab a bus or a special marked van. Then hurry up to Night Safari! It's the only night zoo anywhere in the world. Have dinner there. Watch the fire breathers eat, uhm... fire! Ride the tram, although this is the least fun to do. Also, watch the animal show, coming every hour starting 7:30 p.m.
But the best part is to take the walk around the zoo. By foot, I'm serious. There's a paved pathwalk leading to most of the cages. The adventure starts when you cross a hanging bridge. Remember Jurassic Park? The adventure's like that, 'cause, I don't if this is intentional or not, but some animals are loose in the dark. Like some deer. Or bushbaby. Or... something else. Just not the lion, please, oh Lord! Most of the people are brisk walking, running from the bushes, 'cause some animals just cross your path, and you scream! Like a little girl! I didn't... scream. He he...
Then, you enter the flying squirrels' cage, then enter the bats' cages, too. It's fun and exciting: the hyenas are held at bay by a mere ditch. And the whole time you're passing by their territory, they'll stare at you till kingdom come. If that doesn't scare you, then probably a nincompoop, 'cause I had a hell of a time!
Well, one accident though: I tripped on a broken paving. So they had to wheel me to the Animal Show via a wheelchair. Well, the wheelchair beats walking, anytime!
